This is an invitation for a fictional gallery opening titled Aaron Draplin: America that would feature Draplin’s collection of state posters at the Portland Art Museum. The package itself is made of wood to capture Draplin’s appreciation of all things rugged and handmade. Inside is a modified Field Notes notebook that contains illustrations and information about the event and a DDC hat that serves as the actual ticket in to the
event. The inside of the box is covered in a pattern of the states reminiscent
of Draplin’s logos and illustrations.
